We are seeking an experienced and motivated New York Personal Lines Sales & Service Agent to join our growing independent agency team. This fully remote position is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who thrives in a self-directed environment and enjoys balancing client service with new business development.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a New York independent agency setting and be comfortable managing accounts from quote through renewal while identifying cross-sell opportunities. Strong accountability, organization, and communication skills are essential for success in this remote role.
Requirements
Active New York Property & Casualty License required
Minimum of 2 years of New York independent insurance agency experience
Experience in the Capital District region is a plus
Strong self-motivation and accountability for a fully remote work environment
Key Responsibilities
Quote, bind, and issue new auto and home policies
Review client accounts to identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities
Manage renewals, endorsements, and rewrites
Provide clear policy explanations, claims guidance, and ongoing client service
Maintain accurate records in the Agency Management System
Prospect for and initiate new business opportunities
Answer and manage inbound calls
