Account Manager – Sales & Service
Location: Acworth, GA 30101
Compensation: $45,000 – $50,000
Schedule: In-office for the first three months, then remote flexibility
We are partnering with a well-established independent insurance agency in Acworth, GA seeking an experienced and licensed Account Manager to support both sales and service operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated insurance professional who enjoys building client relationships, identifying coverage solutions, and contributing to agency growth. The ideal candidate will bring experience in both personal and commercial lines and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Quote, bind, and issue new policies for auto, home, and commercial insurance.
Review client accounts to identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities.
Handle renewals, endorsements, and rewrites.
Provide policy explanations, claims guidance, and ongoing client service.
Maintain accurate records in the Agency Management System.
Prospect and initiate new business sales.
Answer the phone.
Handle some administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
Active Georgia License required.
2+ years of experience in an independent insurance agency, including both personal and commercial lines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and carriers.
Proficiency in agency management systems (EZLynx, Applied, TAM, or similar).
