Insurance Agency Manager
We are seeking an experienced Agency Manager with a Florida 220 Property & Casualty License to lead our insurance operations in Ft. Myers. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin and English, with proven expertise in both personal and commercial lines. This role requires a strategic leader who can oversee agency performance, manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive profitability through retention and EBITDA monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
· Leadership & Operations
o Oversee daily agency operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with state and carrier regulations.
o Develop, coach, and monitor employees to ensure productivity, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
o Implement best practices for retention tracking, profitability, and operational performance.
· Financial & Strategic Oversight
o Track agency retention and EBITDA to meet or exceed company targets.
o Provide reporting and analysis to ownership on revenue, expenses, and profitability.
o Assist in setting and achieving growth goals for both personal and commercial lines.
· Client & Policy Management
o Service and manage a book of business across personal and commercial P&C lines.
o Advise clients on coverage options, risk management, and policy changes.
o Ensure accurate handling of renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and claims follow-up.

Typical Property & Casualty Agent Duties (as part of the role)
· Quote, bind, and issue new policies for auto, home, and commercial insurance.
· Review client accounts to identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities.
· Handle renewals, endorsements, audits, and rewrites.
· Provide policy explanations, claims guidance, and ongoing client service.
· Maintain accurate records in the Agency Management System (AMS).
Qualifications
· Active Florida 220 P&C License required.
· 2+ years of experience in insurance agency operations, including both personal and commercial lines.
· Prior management experience, with strong knowledge of agency financials, retention, and EBITDA tracking.
· Fluency in Mandarin and English (verbal and written) required.
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in agency management systems (EZLynx, Applied, TAM, or similar).
Preferred
· Experience scaling operations or managing multi-location agencies.
· Strong analytical and reporting skills for financial and retention metrics.
